Contract expiry blank

Go to solution

Hi,

I will be moving house soon and can't wait to leave BT.

However, checking their shady practice of contract renewals, it's unclear what my options are.

According to the on site 'checker', the expiry date is blank.  What does this mean?

Thanks for any info provided.

Hi

I have justed checked my contract online as well and the contract expiry is also blank so its not just you that seems to be affected.  The start date is there but there is no end date.

The simplest solution is to phone up BT and tell them you are thinking of cancelling.

If they offer you a big discount to stay, then you're out of contract.

If they threaten you with cancellation fees, then you're not.

Actually termination charges are not as bad as I thought they would be.

Nothing would give me more pleasure than sacking this useless, bloated organisation.

Thanks for the help.
