Contract termination

My circumstances have changed drastically from when I renewed my contract last July (I’m told) and I need to move out of where I’m living as I can’t afford it. I called BT to cancel my contract and they told me that my  contract was two years (was nwes to me) and that I would be expected to pay a penalty for the remaining 12 months, the money for which I do have and I am unable to pay.

That was the point of moving out and cancelling the BT bill, no money, so how am I to be expected to pay money I haven’t got??

Anyone have any exeperience with this ??

Re: Contract termination

Any chance you can transfer your BT package to your new address to save paying cancellation charges
