I live in a renovated highland croft with 3ft thick granite external walls. WiFi signal within the house is no problem but I'd like to extend my broadband into a barn with similar external walls which is also around 15ft from the house.
There is power in the barn with cabling connected the house ring main. I have placed the router in a position as close as possible to the barn and I have also attempted to use the Extender 600 but it tells me that it's "Too Far"

Powerline adaptors. They use your power wiring to extend your LAN. See diagram here http://www.shop.bt.com/products/bt-mini-wi-fi-home-hotspot-500-kit-9N14.html There are other manufacturers, all will be compatible with your router.
