Customising Subnets on HH5

Hi, I am rejigging my network so i can get a home lab setup.

I have setup a 10.1.1.0 with 255.0.0.0 network up so Class A.

I have tried to setup the HH with the same range but i get an invalid address. Any ideas why?

The 10.xx private range is reserved on BT HHs for BTWiFi.

Why would you need such a massive address space? And as already pointed out you can't use the 10/8 range as its reserved already.

I dont but i do have another network that has a 10.x range that i need to connect my VM's into. I was hoping to be able to mimic this network at home so i dont have to mess around flipping Ip addresses all the time....
