A neighbour of my 90 year-old father arranged to move from BT to EE but gave the wrong instructions, resulting in my father being cut off. He is extremely distressed and close to a nervous breakdown. BT have been as helpful as possible, and given him a new package starting on the 15th Sept but can't speed it up without EE giving permission. EE just put the phone down on us. Why should my father have to wait so long without a phone through someone else's fault and why should he have to take out a new package? Incidentally, he has a line, broadband and tv package with BT. Any help much appreciated from a very worried son.
