I would like my dlm reset please. I had socket problems causing many drop outs and disconnections. Fitted a new master socket and been connected for over 10 days, No change in speed, it's obviously stuck.
It can take weeks not days for your speeds to recover so DLM is not necessarily stuck.
Thanks for your input however there are posts on here requesting resets, which have been answered by requesting proof of 5 day connections that have subsequently had their profiles reset.
Therefore showing a 10 day connection (which would be 13 days had we not had a 2 minute power cut) is more than sufficient to get my profile reset.
The requests that you saw were probably for ADSL broadband.
Another patronising response, I know how how to read and I also know the difference.
"The requests that you saw were probably for ADSL broadband."
You mean like these two examples ?

https://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Fibre-broadband/Request-DLM-reset/td-p/1825790
Oh look...both are FTTC
If you "know how how to read and I also know the difference." you will have seen that the first link you posted was a reset requested by an Openreach engineer after he had fixed a fault.
The second link points out that at that time the BT operators can not request a DLM reset.
However if you think I am patronising you I will leave you to it.
I can confirm the mods can reset DLM for FTTC connections now as I have personal had this request completed when we were resolving my parents issue.
You were having an issue resolved which also led to a DLM reset. Totally dfferent to the OP's problem. Had an engineer sorted his problem a DLM reset would have been performed.

I can also confirm that moderators can now under certain circumstances request a DLM reset by Openreach. What they can not do is reset it them selves as they can do on ADSL.
They will not make any request until DLM has had a chance to do its job and that can take weeks rather than days and given that the OP had a power cut this will no doubt have set the counters back to square one however not wishing to be patronising I will now bow out of this thread.
