DNS Error

Very disappointed with BT spent a long time on phone trying to explain to the guy that i had received a new hub 6 in upgrade to my hub 5 and had placed it in exactly the same position as hub 5 connected it to my wired network one ethernet to a 1GB 8 port switch  and reconfigured the wireless but although my main pc worked not well but slowly any other pc connected by ethernet got an ip address but could not access dns and wouldn't connect to internet  if i swapped back to my hub five all worked fine

first he said my pcs were faulty then suggested i move router away from window  he seemed to sulk when i asked him if he knew what DNS stood for and said he would get "team 3 " to speak to me no response yet and the best ever hub back in its box

any ideas here ?
