DTLS connections

Hi, I use an SSL VPN for work which attempts to connect as DTLS (UDP:4433).  My BT broadband will never connect using this though and always falls back to TCP:443 (https).  Colleagues can connect fine with their varying providers.  Does BT block this type of traffic?
