Re: Dalkeith Exchange - BT Infinity

Kilfnan, I'm om 3mbps at the moment and Netflix is very good quality.  According to Netflix "Subscribers must have enough bandwidth (upwards of 5Mbps or 7Mbps for best quality)" So I am suprised that 35 mbps doesn't give you "super HD".  Can I ask, who is your ISP?

Re: Dalkeith Exchange - BT Infinity

I did a netflix test. Smiley Wink

I played four netflix streams at once.

On the PS3, the title's description shows if it SuperHD, so I checked each title on the PS3 first.

I tested for about 15 minutes the following all playing at the same time:

Breaking Bad on PS3 using ethernet cable

Real Steel on XPS 17 laptop using 5GHz wireless

The Sorcerer's Apprentice on Dell XPS Vista laptop using 2.4GHz wireless

The Hobbit on Asus Transformer android tablet using 2.4GHz wireless

All the streams were HD quality and they worked flawlessly. Smiley Very Happy

My router produced this graph of the streams bandwidth usage (nothing else was active on the network):

EDIT: Graph showing only the WAN traffic (graph above includes my connection to the router's web interface):

Re: Dalkeith Exchange - BT Infinity

I've just gone through the process of an upgrade order to 78meg and it says that the maximum I can expect is 36meg.

Does that sound correct?  Any reason why I couldn't get the Infinity 2 package?
