Date for digital switchover

A few months ago I was told by BT about digital switchover and offered a free hub which I ordered. It has lain in a box collecting dust for 3 months and no further communication about when it will be needed.  Do they send you a date to instal this?

Yes you will receive further comms as to when you will be changed over to Digital Voice.

From experience from first letter informing you about it to getting a change over date can very from 1 week to 4-5 months

You can connect the hub and use it now if you wish in readiness for when you are switched to DV.
