Death of old tv packages

I am lucky enough to still be on the good old Entertainment Extra with free BT sport all in HD and recently received mailings and emails to say it would be ending and I would lose channels.  I can’t find the mails and can’t see on the website to say when the package will end.  

Does anybody know the end dates for the old packages please?

News to me, certain channels are being removed however I believe - The following channels are being removed from this package from 1st March: Sky History, Lifetime, Crime & Investigation and Vice. From 1st April, Syfy and E! will also be removed.

All the old packages will end up having the same channels as the current Classic Entertainment Pack

As the previous poster says some of the channels are going, and presumably he pulled the text straight from that page.

I myself, had a letter urging me to switch to a new package, but not that it was ending.

However, some channels will remain that are not available with the new Now TV packages, and will be lost if you switch to a new package.

If you don't want to switch to the Now TV Packages, then the new Classic Entertainment Pack pricing may be cheaper than the one you are now on, but be warned that if you switch to it, you again have to be signed up to another 24 months of Broadband.
