Just had an email from BT stating that my DEBT (which I knew nothing about) has been passed to a debt collection agency. According to this email BT have sent several reminders. I have received nothing from them since I cancelled my account in May 2016. This Email says that charges have been added to my account also. This is yet another problem I am having to sort and I am not even a customer anymore. Can anyone give me som advice on how to get this dealt with.
If a mod could pick this up please before I take legal action against BT......

I just sat on hold for 34 minutes after having the joy talking to one of the typical BT call centers to be CUT OFF.
I have already tried that route, for some reason there are two seperate account numbers from two seperate adress locations that I moved away from years ago but I have had account opened up after I left. Its not looking good TBH and I dont need this right now.
