Latest development is that (often) the broadband speed from the hub falls to around 1.4 Mbps, even when the line speed is around 5Mbps. I can test this using BT's diagnostic test from the laptop, or when that stops working and can't be reset using any of the techniques available, from my Android phone connected via WiFi to the hub. Under these circumstances I have no internet connection from the laptop and sometimes it also stops from the phone. I have then to wait, sometimes for hours, until the hub speed returns to normal.
