I was due to have my broadband switched over in March but it still hasn't happened. Originally I was fobbed off but on week 9 I was told bt openreach would complete the work that was needed on the 31st of July. I'm now on week 17 of no internet and the work still hasn't been completed. I have emailed the ceo which has got the complaint escalated to executive level but the promised date has still been and gone.
I'm at my wits end with it all and just want to be connected and don't have an alternative to get fibre.

Thanks for the reply. I have somebody dealing with the problem from BT. I'm asking really to see if anyone else has had any similar problems and if they had anymore luck than I have in getting the problem resolved.
John, as I have said I have a contact at BT that is dealing with my problem. It is someone who contacted me after sending an email to Gavin Patterson. I have gone through a number of procedures with the complaints department that ended with me contacting the boss of BT. I have thanked Paddy for the reply.
I am looking for somebody who's been in a similar position that I have to see how they got it resolved.
