Desktop Help says follow steps on browers - but am not connected to internet!!

Had this problem numerous times, hope someone can help.   Broadband drops (although light still on, on hub).  BT Desktop Help does its stuff then says "Your Hub is having problems connecting to the Internet.  Please follow the steps in the browser to fix this issue".  But of course the brower can't connect to get any steps to follow.   I just end up resetting the hub and it fixes the problem.

first thing I would do is remove desktop help and basically the btcd which you installed  this can cause problems with conenction especially wifi  just let windows manage your conenction

The "online" help is actually info stored within the hub itself, it will not need an internet connection to display the info.

thanks Dave, but the browser screen is always blank with "Website found. Waiting for reply" at the bottom.  I leave it for 5-10 mins then give in and press the reset
