They would get ringing tone, until answer 1571 answered the call.

This is what I would expect.

When our service was turned on, they also turned on Call waiting and 1571. Both of these were turned off previously.

I think problem is it is not made clear than on the switch to DV that you now have ability to make 2 calls or make a call and also receive a another call on home phone at the same time.  for some this is a good facility and for others it is a problem which is fixed by changing call feature from multi to single

I was switched over months ago. No issues using my own DECT phones using the DV adaptor. Today however, people have been messaging me saying they tried calling me and it’s ringing but no one’s answering. I picked up my phone and I have an engaged time instead of a dial tone. Anyone else experienced this and anyone have a resolution?
