So how do I set up my Hub 2 with my Digital Voice phone?
What lead do I need to plug into the back of my Hub 2 Digital Voice socket and where does it go?
Is it a special RJ11?
If you have the Digital Voice phone service, follow the instructions here:
https://www.bt.com/help/landline/digital-voice--how-do-i-set-up-my-service-
They work wirelessly using DECT (like other cordless phones).
You can plug a corded phone into the phone socket on the back of the Smart Hub 2.

As far as I'm aware, that socket won't work if you have digital voice, it is provided to connect to a copper landline.
So how does my Digital Voice hone connect? Is it WiFi or Bluetooth? You can't plug the base unit into the landline....all you can do is plug the Smart Hub 2 into the landline using the Digital Voice socket
Or could I plug a non digital phone straight into the back of the router using the Digital Voice socket?
Neither, it is DECT. There is a DECT base station built into the hub. Are you sure you have BT digital voice service or are you using a VOIP service.
So they are just using VOIP technology...they've just called it Digital Voice?
I've just bought the gear and need to swap over to digital voice, I was just looking and couldn't work out what the socket was for and if it used landline or the internet
