Digital Voice and Hub

Hi all,

We have just had our fibre installed today along with digital voice.

With my current setup I have my own Unifi kit to manage the network and connections.

I know that I need the Hub to be able to use digital voice, so, can the hub be configured so that it takes its connection from my other network kit and not directly be managing the connection itself?

What I would like to try and achieve is:

Fibre > ONT > Unifi Security Gateway > Network Switch > Hub > Digital Voice

Welcome to this user forum.

Th BT hub need to take its connection from the WAN port of the optical modem, to work with BT Digital voice. It will not work if its connected to the LAN sde.

To clarify, the hub WAN port needs to be directly connected to the ONT Port1. Any third party equipment needs to be after the hub, not before.

I’ll do without using the landline phones.
