I discovered this evening that all my Sent emails prior to 12 April 2021 have disappeared from my Sent folder. My Inbox emails are still present and these go back to 2005 and so my Sent emails would have been a similar timeframe. I have not made any changes to settings nor deleted sent emails. I called BT helpline who went through some simple checks and then advised that they could see nothing incorrect in the settings but that BT does not have a process to recover the sent emails that have disappeared. I requested escalation and got the same feedback from a Helpdesk manager. I was also told that this is not a known issue and Helpdesk unaware of emails disappearing.
I then searched on the BT Community Forum and found that there are multiple cases where this has occurred.
What is the process to recover the Sent emails?
