Disposable Email Addresses

Why has the Disposable Email Address function changed from being a valuble item to being an absolute pain? It used to work easily and when you clicked Add it did so instantly, now you click add and it adds ...-[Keyword] not what was actually typed in.

This needs changing back to the old system ASAP!

Re: Disposable Email Addresses

Hi Velvetcoat,

Welcome to the forum.

Are you referring to the @btinternet.com sub accounts or something else? As far as I am aware there isn't a "disposable email address" option with our email accounts (unless you're referring to adding a sub-account?)

Thanks,

Stephanie

Re: Disposable Email Addresses

Disposable Email Addresses have been available for quite some time, they are accessed via Options, Mail Options, Disposable Addresses. With the newest version of BT Yahoo! Mail adding an address seems impossible, using the older version I can add an address without difficulty. The new version is used via Google Chrome 16.0.912.41 and the old version via Inernet Explorer 9.0.8112.1641. Up until the latest version using Disposable Email Addresses has been simple now the new version gives ....-[keyword] and it will not accept a new keyword when Add is clicked. Have R&D actually tried this facility out? If not, why not??? Julian
