Do BT need my PAC

Go to solution

We have had BT line rental for years but had sky broadband (originally with O2 but Sky bought them out), we just signed up online to broadband with BT and I ticked a box giving consent to change from my current provider.

Is that all I do or do I need a PAC code from Sky, also do I need to contact Sky or will everything automatically be stopped?

i wanted to speak to an assistant in chat but our order went through at 21:01, just after chat closed.

Hefully someone here can help.

PAC "codes" are only relevant for mobile network switches.

MAC "codes" were used for migrating broadband but they're not longer relevant.

BT will take care of everything. You'll get a letter or email from Sky confirming the cancellation of the account along with a final bill.
