Does G fast use the FTTC ports?

If the FTTC cabinet is full, can G. fast still be available? From googling it seems g fast uses a pod attached to the PCP cab but does it also require a free port in the FTTC?

No, its a self contained pod.

Yeah, FTTC and G.Fast, although both done at the PCP are separate technologies so even if all the VDSL FTTC Ports are in use G.Fast can still be available.
