There is not a general customer service email address that I'm aware of.
Live Chat is often a good alternative - although availability has been patchy during recent times - but, if you go to the Contact Us section and follow through the appropriate sub sections, Live Chat will appear as an option if there is an available customer service rep available at that time.

It may well be that they are just incredibly busy in the present circumstances. There is no email address, but you could write to them at: BT plc, PO Box 334, Sheffield, S98 1BT if the online chat isn't working. Another option is to tweet them: @bt_uk - good luck!

I have been told all emails avenues are closed as they just end up swamped in times of change. Customers should ring as even most live chat channels are currently closed. The tweet option posted last is probably the best option if you can't call. We should remember the teams are in UK call centers that can't be great.

Same problem here. I'm trying to cancel. Applied for free month but they explained that it might not be applied for ten days. My bills due in four days,so no help. Cannot afford to pay in April at all.
BT are not disconnecting people for non payment at the moment.
