Does smart hub 2 cause wireless devices to use more battery

Since replacing bt home hub by smart hub 2 with 1 disc, our wireless devices (mobile phones, tablet, e-reader) seem to be running their batteries down more quickly.

Is that expected or just my imagination

Hi @zippy3

I can only go from my own experience having had a SH2 and Disc for over 6 months. Absolutely no difference in battery drain compared to my previous SH (HH6A).

Try putting some wireless devices in “Airplane” mode or “Flight” mode when on standby.

See if it makes a difference in battery usage. It’s an old problem with iOS  devices, in particular,  but results are inconclusive.
