Does the Vanguard 10 telephone need straight or cross over wired cable?

I am replacing the damaged cable which connects my Vanguard 10 telephone (circa 1996!) to my BT socket.

Please can anyone advise whether the Vanguard 10 telephone need straight or cross over wired cable?
