Double NAT/port forwarding issues?

Very unlikely but it is possible you are behind CGNAT, however, it is easy to check. Go to https://www.whatismyip.com/ and see what your public address is and compare it with what your hub indicates your public IP address is. If they are both the same you aren't CGNATTED.

Well the broadband IP address is the same if that's what I'm meant to compare it to since there's nothing saying public IP address.

I'm not into gaming, so no idea if the game you are having problems with needs ports open to play. What game is it, somebody else might be able to help.

It's rainbow six siege and the ports are meant to be open according to the support but my ports just won't open it seems from what I can tell

Nevermind, it seems the online tester was just failing for no reason. I've checked with an actual program and it says it's open so I'll just have to contact the support for the game, thanks for the help.
