Downgrading from Total Broadband Option 2 to Option 1

I have renewed my contract with BT and am considering moving from Option 2 to Option 1, as I do not need the extra download allowance even with the addition of BT Vision. I have been told I can do this anytime after my activation date. I could phone BT, but that is too time consuming. I have also been told that I can do it online.

 

Anyone tell me how I can do this?

You can log into your BT account and click to edit your package, but calling would be much faster!

If you've just taken a fresh minimum term contract, make very sure that downgrading won't foul things up. The Options Team on 0800 800 030 are likely to be more sensible than the Helpdesk.
