are you currently using the test socket with a filter as that should give best connection
do you know which exchange and cabinet you are on?
Hi. I use the master socket and don't need a filter with the type of socket I have.
The exchange is Kirkby in Ashfield, cabinet 7/.
I understand you are using a filtered master socket but have you tried connecting to the test socket with a filter to see if that improves your connection by eliminating any problems with internal wiring and faceplate
your cabinet is ECI so no G.INP activation by DLM which may have given a speed increase
Thnaks for the reply.
A Bt engineer has been out before and says the wiring is fine.
Any plans for the exchange to implement G.INP, does this reduce crosstalk?
It's not the exchange as fibre is to the cabinet. G.INP has been postponed on ECI cabs a great present
Thanks for the info, any reason for that?
Openreach having problems getting it to work on ECI
looks like you are still in banded profile so you need to maintain a stable connection so the DLM will release banding but if connection is not stable then banding will continue
I will look up what ECI is.
My router rebooted twice today after 26 days uptime due to receiving the latest firmware for the HH6. I don't restart if I can help it.
The firmware update won't be see as a drop in connection by DLM
