I wonder if someone could help me? I ran a speedtest yesterday and I noticed my download speed is greater than my
DSL connection rate, and both of these are greater than my IP profile. Do I need to be concerned about this? I give the results below:
Download speedachieved during the test was - 20436 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 4000-21000 Kbps.
Your DSL Connection Rate :20171 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 1164 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 17000 Kbps
I also give my hub readings (although this has been reset since the speedtest)
|Thank you in advance, kevin.|
if everything is running ok then I wouldn't be bothered about it
Thank you so much for the quick reply. Yes everything seems ok.
I noticed on the speedtester FAQ it says 'This is the actual rate achieved during the Performance Test. This rate will never reach the IP profile rate and this is normal.'
I just thought this may indicate a problem.
just enjoy your great connection - I'm jealous
