Pondering over these three, i guess there is not too much difference in the 28** series according to this comparison,

Draytek Vigor 2850n

As the 2830n apparantly is not totally vdsl/2 compliant in that chart.

Easy to set up with the 2850 infinity FAQ on Draytek site.

Both the 2750 and 2850 have 100Mbp/s throughtput.

Note to people choosing other routers, in my experience a lot of other routers max out at about 20-30Mb/s, as they were really designed to be used as ADSL routers (max 24Mb/s). So you are buying an Infinity 40Mb/s service but then limiting yourself by choice of router to 20Mb/s. Smiley Surprised

This is one area the BT homebhub routers are good as they have no problem working at 40Mb/s and above for those people trialing 80Mb/s

Just a word of warning - after numerous issues with my 2850n I sent it back for a replacement

im most likely going to go for the 2750n over the other 2, would i be wrong in going for this? i want something to replace both OR modem and HH3, and give me a solid connection be able to DMZ and view connection stats. are there any other brands that make something similar that maybe better to replace both OR modem and HH3? cheers

I have used a 2750n for about 4 months now,and have never had any downtime, unless I want it.

The 2750n is not an easy device to setup, but when done it is very reliable in my opion.

I have posted a lot of info in some of my other threads on here about QoS settings etc.

If you get the 2750,then feel free to post here if you need help with setting it up [no wireless probs though,as I don`t use it].

DMZ,port forwarding, and lots of other sections work fine, and the stats info etc is cool.
