Devices that connect to the device will autosense IPV6 and use it, at the moment, i believe BT do not run full IPV6 and are running IPV4, this will change in the near future as more and more ip's needed.

Re: Draytek Vigour 2850n : First Tests.

Hi,

what speeds will this Router support if BT increase there 40/10 to 80/20.

As I have just read this,

The Draytek Vigor 2850n is a variant of the Vigor 2830 series with the addition of a built-in interface which supports both ADSL/ADSL2+ and also VDSL lines for connectivity up to 50Mb/s.   HERE

What does the  Up to 50Mb/s mean.

I am new to Networking so sorry if this is a silly ?

Re: Draytek Vigour 2850n : First Tests.

50mb is a misprint, i contacted Draytek and it is 100mb , i t means it will support the 80 mb /20mb bt infinty update coming soon, its to do with your connection speed to BT infinty 🙂
