E mail account blocked

Go to solution
Hello Need some help here. Yesterday BT texted me to say my a-mail account was suspended due to unusual activity. I could not get to speak to a human, so had to spend hours working out how to deal. The help page, did not help at all. SO after running a full scan with nortons, I managed to reset both the email & BT accounts - but for the life of me I can not follow the instructions for checking the e-mail settings. I am trying to check that no one has set up auto forwarding. On my BT Yahoo page the settings button has nothing about auto forwarding. Can anyone help and guide me through how to check the settings for BY mail please. Keith

First you need to be in basic mail mode, to do that click on settings (cog wheel in top right corner) and then select more settings. At the bottom of the left hand pane select switch to basic mail. Once in basic mail, select settings and click Go in the top right of the window. At the bottom of the resulting page you will see the forwarding options.

Thank you. Why BT could not have put that on their information page I do not know. Your instructions are perfect.

Very grateful.
