Hi,
I have switched to the latest BT Mail service but now I cannot download any attachments, I can preview, and if I switch back to basic I can download, can someone please help
Thanks
You would appear to be on the BTYaoo email system and not the BTMail system.
I am not on the BTYahoo email system but the Yahoo email system works in the following way which should be similar to the BTYahoo system.
When you open the email you should see a preview pane of the attachement. If you hover over that you should see a "download" arrow and tray. Click on that and the attachment will be downloaded to your chosen download folder.
You can also download the attachment when the email is not open. If you go to the attachment symbol at the right hand side of the email subject and hover over it. It will show you the attachment. Click on it and the attachment will open in a preview pane. Once it has opened you can go to the menu bar and at the top righ you will see the button to download the attachment.
Hi,
how do I get onto the BTMail system then, as every time I ask to log in to BTmail but it logs me into BTyahoo mail instead.
As I said I can preview and it has a small arrow pointing downward for down loads but when I click on this it doesnt download, if I switch to e-mail basic it works without an issue, this has only occurred within last week prior to that I did not have an issue
Thanks

BT are currently running two systems. You can not "get onto" the BTMail system. You are on the BTYahoo email system.
Did you try the other method I mentioned?
Have you tried a different browser to see if it is a browser problem.
Thanks appears to be a browser issue was using Chrome but if I use Microsoft edge it works ok is there anything I can do to fix the chrome browser issue as this is what I normally use as default
Regards

Hi,
When you say you've switched to the latest BT Mail service, do you mean you've set up webmail to use the new "pretty" format? (It's implied by you saying you can go back to Basic).
As you can use a different browser without issue, it could be interference from a, say, security package - it could be a corrupt cookie or cache problem. What happens when you try Chrome using the Incognito version? (Press the 3 dots top right and choose the option, or simply Crtrl-Shift-N)

Try clearing the history/cookies and cache from Chrome. You access the history from the settings, 3 dots at the top right.
Hi,
yes works in that version also, and yes I mean the pretty new interface
Thanks
