I don't use an email client, only the Web mail. So my query is solely down to whether something is going on at the BT servers. I have used a BT email premium account for 15+ years, without a problem.
Then, about 2/3 weeks ago, I noticed my sent folder, which had years of sent emails, suddenly emptied overnight. I carried on using it only to find a couple of days ago, it had emptied recently sent mails and all but 1 email remained??
I called the help line, only to be told they did not know what the fault was, as none of my folder options included deleting after so long, or forwarding etc. Also, whatever gremlin was in the system, there was no way I would get my folders back. Recommending that I cc myself on sent mail, as my infolder remains, so far, intact.
Yesterday, I was amazed to see some folders I had deleted months ago reappearing along with of all the emails I knowingly deleted!
I can only assume from this erratic behaviour that a major loss of data somewhere has happened and I was a victim and the recovery process appears to be hap hazard.
Has anyone else noticed 'disappearing and reappearing folders?
