I do not go clicking on expecting emails requesting that I verify account info, passwords, etc. Is this email from BT Yahoo legitimate or is it a phisming scam? I have had this particular acct for many months, and have not inititiated verification of an existing email account. So what's up?

This is weird. I just clicked on the link after Googling the url and discovering that it is authentic, and the webpage said:
Oops! Looks like you're logged into another account.
To complete the verification, you need to sign out from your current account email@example.com and sign into firstname.lastname@example.org. Click on the “Sign Out & Continue” button to continue with the verification process.
I didn't do it. I hit Cancel. So something is really mucked up.
