Email keyword search no longer working on Moto G4

In the last few days not able to retrieve old mails when searching with keyword tool on Moto G4.

After nearly a minute, message comes up "there was a problem syncng this folder. Please try again later". Been going on for 3 days now.

My email account is synchronized (otherwise) + I've deleted app & reinstated it + change email password + cleared storage, but still doesn't work.

I need to be able to retrieve old emails with filter/keyword search.

Anyone else in same situation & how to solve?

Yes it does, so something to do with my mobile or App?

Would appear to be. Doubt it is the mobile. It is more likely the app.

Is it set up as an IMAP account? If it is you should go into the settings and depending on which app you are using, check the settings to see that all the folders are set to sync with the server.
