Email log in issues

I’m looking for someone to help me with my email, I’ve been having problems trying to log into my by email account for some time now and because bt have closed the yahoo mail app I now have to log into bt email app and when logging in it says it neither recognises my username or password, so I go onto the bt website to try and log in and then it comes up with “you’re currently not logged into email - please click here” and then it’s just a circle of logging in and nothing happening. Many thanks in advance if anyone can help lol

The reviews for the BTMail app are very poor. You should try using your devices onboard email app or any other of the many email apps that are available.

Are you a BT Broadband customer or paying for your email through a BT Premium email account?

When was the last time you accessed your email account using a web browser? 

What happens when you try to log on using this link.

same problem here, does that mean we can no longer use the app? Would have been nice to have been told befirehand

You can not use the Yahoo app to access your BTMail.

Why would you expect BT to tell you that you can not use an app that has nothing to do with them or even know if you were using it in the first place.

Because I foolishly assumed that the btyahoo app was something to do with BT?

Your BTYahoo email account is to do with BT but the app was a Yahoo app not a BTYahoo app!
