When I compose an email I can complete the first line i.e. Hello Fred. When I try to continue on the second line, no text appears. I have to tab or move the cursor along a bit, type and then back space to put the text in the correct place. Have been advised by BT email dept. that all their customers have been advised of this problem. I have not been and BT customer services heve never heard of it. There appears no solution to this problem. Anyone else having the same issue and any suggestions as to how to resolve it?
How are you accessing your email, is it with a web browser or are you using an email client/app?
If it is a browser try composing it in rich text or if it is in rich text try using plain.
You can change this for the purposes of testing when you compose and email if you look for the "format" box below the subject line.
Thanks Distinguished Sage. Will give it a go and report back
KInd regards
Warmday
For what it's worth, here we are a year later and this is still not fixed - BT webmail has to be the worst system I've come across ever.
Quite right. I don't use BT email anymore. It's complete rubbish. In fact I am fed up with BT altogether and will be changing provider.
I don't know why it's take me so long, but I finally installed Thunderbird to handle all my accounts. Beats the BT web app totally. Do it, Do It Now :O)
