Thanks for reply. My emails (received) more or less all have this IP address as " non permitted sender" on incoming emails. Outgoing have this as originating ip. Is this an issue? Thanks.
Difficulties with sent emails only, taking up to 5 mins to be received (checked with email to self.)
Been intermittent problems all week. Sometimes its there sometimes not.
The difference can be demonstrated with the two examples of data taken from headers (that I dont know much about at all/ or interpretation ) so would be grateful if someone could have a look , it seems to me that sometimems emails appear to originate in US and are delayed ? . I've highlighted what I beleive the differences. Why does this happen? can it be prevented? Thanks.

So frustrating..........& Still ongoing with material delay (sometimes not getting to end recipent) sending emails via BT Yahoo - all devices Iphone /IPAD & through webmail on PC. Can a Mod possibly help?. My limited knowledge appears to show emails going through different servers all the time either US or UK - big delay if US. Additionally, SMTP server settings on IPAD & Phone both greyed out?? so cant check anything. Tried setting up IPHONE/IPAD with BT settings & specifically choosing teh preloaded Yahoo option.
PC / Webmail via Yahho/BT same.
Really am beginning to lose patience with all this, but I dont know enough about it , I'm stumblinga round in alimited fashion . Need an exper view, happy to share headers etc . Really would appreciate some input.
Hi, can I get a MODS help please, been having problems for weeks - started a thread a few weeks back - tried to post seperately within the email section of the forum but it seems every time I post it just goes to the bottom of my initial post even though I've started a new topic..... I think one of the MODS merged or did something to the thread . But I need help on the here & now issue - link is here : https://community.bt.com/t5/Email/Email-sent-from-Desktop-amp-Laptop-taking-up-to-fiv-minutes-to/m-p...
specifically the last post about issues with SMTP & different servers ............
Really would appreciate a MOD stepping in. Thank you.
As I previously explained to you the last time you started a new thread, your post was merged with your other thread because it is the same problem and it lets anybody trying to help you see the history of the thread.
Starting a new thread about the same problem just leads to confusion or duplication of answers because the history is not known.
No, but thank you DavidM . How would I go about this?.
I'm really after some help, but as I said my "topic" just keeps getting added to the bottom of my old one . Could really do with someones help on the email side of things. Thaks again.
Thanks, but I started a different topic. I wanted to start a new one deliberately as I cannot get any help . Is there not anyone who can answer some questions on email/yahoo?. Suppor desk are inept and dont have a clue how to answer the questions . As it stnads every time then I want to start a topic on email - it merges. Thats not right in itself. Can you not at all approach a MOD for me ? perhaps get odmeone to PM me and discuss this issue ?>
