No, they don't.  The only BT staff who take any notice of these forums are the moderators.

Re: Error VC010?

SO, here's how I fixed this issue.

Open up the Silverlight console, (Press the start windows key and type in silverlight to find it)

Click on the Application storage tab, and delete the sport.bt.com one,

then go to the Permissions tab, and "remove" the btsports there too,

Refresh the btsports page, should be good now...

Good idea, but if there's no application showing in that tab, your fix isn't going to help. Top marks for trying tho... Man Happy

Re: Error VC010?

Since I started this thread it started playing after 20mins and hasn't been a problem since.  I have to say I'm impressed with the quality of the picture not had any picture corruption at all!

Re: Error VC010?

I've just been having a play with the Silverlight options.

Turning off the DRM option generated a VC010 - that's not to say it couldn't also generate others if the conditions are right.

May be worth checking that you have the DRM option turned on if you are experiencing this error:

Open Silverlight

Click the Playback tab

If the DRM checkbox isn't ticked, click it.

OK.

Reboot.

The other thing which can cause VC010 is quitting the application without pressing the stop button on the video stream.

That seems sensible advice; shame it isn't made clear to the users. Plus, doesn't the "stop" control hide itself from view during play? Tricky...

Re: Error VC010?

Yes it hides itself, but it will reappear if you move the mouse over the picture or tap the picture if you're using the app.
