Okay thank you for this. What I would like to know is this, if I run a cat6 cable from my BT Smarthub to a Cat6 socket in outbuilding, then plug an AP to this junction box (that supports VLAN for a separate guest network) such as TL-WA801ND, this would be fine, until someone unplugs this router and plugs into the Cat6 socket directly with their laptop accessing my network directly. Would this mean I would require 2 VLAN Routers/AP's? Either replacing the BT Smarthub with a VLAN Router or daisy chaining onto the BT Smarthub, then adding a second AP to the outbuilding ?
