Ethernet connections not working

Go to solution
We have a BT hub 5 with an infinity connection. Ask of our workers devices work perfectly fine but our Ethernet devices can't access the internet. When going into the hubs settings is days that all of the Ethernet devices are 'not connected' and doesn't seem to have given any of them IPs. Does anyone know what to do???
Thanks 😀

Try ONE factory reset of the Homehub by pressing a pin into the recess button on the rear for about 20 seconds. This can often sort out problems.

Have you tried disconnecting all the Ethernet devices and just using one of your devices ,plugging it in to each of the Homehub's Ethernet ports in turn to see if any of the ports work. Also try using a different Ethernet cable.

I unplugged all of the devices and plugged each of them back in, leaving time for each of them to sync properly and they now are all working.
Thanks

This can be caused by accidental Ethernet bridges, which will cause the Ethernet ports to go offline. So it may happen again.
