Expire/cancel charges

Hi,

I recently decided not to renew my broadband with BT. Quality of service through out the 12 months was great! so BT or the broadband service isn't the reason for not renewing.

I just received my final bill of £60 for early cancellation, this for the line rental, (not broadband) which BT is legally allowed to do as per the contract I signed. However given that new tenants have taken out a new BT infinity Broadband package, which starts ONE day after mine expires, so affectingly I'm paying for a service which someone is already paying.

Is this fair?

Regards,

Re: Expire/cancel charges

the new tenants start a completely new contract they do not take over yours you are being charged because you cancelled before the contract period ended
