I have BT fibre BB, using a 3 year old smart hub. Typically I get 40mb speeds download and a ping less than 20
Today my ping rate has been huge....like 200-300
i noticed my gaming sessions were lagging and now this evening all my devices (phone, laptop and tablets) take 5-10 seconds to start loading
a Speedtest starts off slow and reports these high pings and then the actual speed slowly climbs to up to 40mb
this is all on a wireless connection (except PS4) as I don’t have a laptop with an Ethernet port.
every now and then the ping rate goes back down.
ive restarted the router twice today
what could be causing this? Is it my router or something else
