Hello, over the past few weeks we have been having very high ping spikes, if I load a webpage the ping will go up to around 600+ for a few seconds then back fown, longer depending on what is on the page (images etc). Sometimes the ping will also go up to around 1500+ for 2-3mins then back down while doing nothing. I am on a wired PC connection so its nothing to do with the wireless. This is mainly a problem as I am on teamspeak a lot and when this happens it causes horrible packet loss. I am aware that the line we are on is pretty bad, however before joining BT there were no ping issues. We are using a home hub 4 that was part of the package, not sure if this is a common problem or not however some help would be greatly appreciated. I would run a tracert however it never picks up the spikes.
As an CS player who uses TS alot and has a bad connection with others using it, all I can say is unless there is a problem - you cant do much about it. Mind posting the ADSL stats from your HUB 4 and running this check?
