F.O.I. Act

Does BT have to adhere to the above act? F.O.I. = Freedom of Information.

Re: F.O.I. Act

Since BT is a public limited company, and not owned by the state in any way, I would say no.

Re: F.O.I. Act

Thought as much.  Just brilliant - NOT!

Since my probs have been ongoing for a few years now, I will have to think of another way then.

Re: F.O.I. Act

Would a request under the Data Protection Act give the information you require?  That applies to any organisation.

Re: F.O.I. Act

Have just found out from Trading Standards that you can in fact get ALL information on yourself under the heading 'Subject Access Requests'.  They have 40 working days to supply you with it.

Will calm down first, then put pen to paper once again!!  Someone/anyone pleeeease wish me luck.
