Had FTP install today, chap was here 3 hours, fitted the modem inside, drilled through wall then couldn't get the cable to get through to join the other side. Guy was great but there was a blockage 3m under driveway so had to give up.
Apparently I will need a new Openreach team to come out, dig up part of driveway free the blockage and feed the cable through then put it all back together for then an engineer to arrive to connect it up.
Im thinking of telling them to just forget it but that part of me says eventually FTP will be the norm so to just get it done.
Has anyone had this issue and what's peoples thoughts please.
