I have checked the Broadband Availability Checker and it shows FTTP as available with a down/up speed of 330/30, but nothing under FTTP install process (although under the info it states that FTTP is not available - confusing!)
My neighbours behind me have had it installed and we connect to the same cabinet on a newish estate.
Not quite sure why they can get it but i can't.
Can anyone shed any light? We are both servered by cabinet 35
can you post the screenshot of the checker, removing your phone number please
If its showing 330/30 I bet they mean FTTPoD, ie FTTP On demand, which doesnt mean you can get FTTP.
FTTP doesn't come from a cabinet either.
However BT is not accepting orders fot FTTP due to lockdown.
This is for my property
This is my neighbours who backs onto our garden, same estate.
Neighbours
FTTP On Demand you can access at a price.
If you look at the bottom it states "FTTP is not available" for you.
Looks like your neighbour has access to FTTP indeed.
It may well be a case of wait a few more weeks or months, from what I can see there is a lot of fttp in your area, it cant all happen at once, there are always street divides.
Have you seen any Openreach activity on your street recently as that is a tell tale sign, for FTTP they have to physically put cables in the ground or on poles, if you havent noticed that then it may be longer wait.
Thanks for all the replies.
Is there any way of finding out if / when it is planned for my street?
Cheers
No.
