I want to purchase FTTP.
The Openreach database shows this is not available to my property. But this is incorrect. I am surrounded by properties connected by FTTP, some receiving download speeds of up to 300Mbps.
The Openreach database says that my cabinet is not enabled and FTTP is not available. But I've spoken directly to local Openreach engineers just down the road who told me that the cabinet is irrelevant because FTTP is coming directly from the exchange. They say I just need to purchase FTTP but whenever I try to do this I come up against a brickwall because BT sales access the Openreach database and say it is not available to me!
How do I resolve this situation?

Welcome to this user forum.
Who are you trying to place an FTTP order with, as not all providers sell it?
BT......I'm currently a BT Unlimited Broadband customer receiving about 2.5Mbps to the property
enter your phone number and post results delete number https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html

Then contact the Fibre To The Home team on 0800 587 4787. They may be able to advise you.
