Placed an order to move from fibre 1 to full fibre 100, just had this month's bill in and noticed there is a £25 charge for renumber what does this mean, can anyone advise, thanks.

try phoning FTTP team who deal with your connection and see if someone there can help 08005874787
Its possible you are being moved to BT Digital Voice, so you may be issued with a new phone number, hence the renumber charge.
If you've only upgraded to FTTP, even with a move to Digital Voice, you shouldn't of been charged for the renumber.
Give the FTTP team a call or the billing team, they'll remove it by adding a credit.
Renumbers are chargeable if you'd asked for one, shouldn't be on any upgrades.
Thanks, called and got through straightaway, they said that was standard charge, but as a gesture of goodwill, would credit it back. Strange as the number i was being renumbered to and from was my own BT numbere. Thznks for help and number.
Probably a moot point now as you have had a credit applied, but did you ask for DV , when it were possible for your copper landline to continue to deliver telephony , if you requested it, the number to be ceased over copper delivered over the FTTP , that may generate the charge as it’s possibly extra work compared to leaving the copper phone service as it was , do they supply a phone with DV , again that presumably has a cost ?
Hi, I didn't know anything about the phone line/number changing. I called to upgrade to FTTP and all they said was that my calls going forward would be over internet. I didn't realise what that meant.
